Sunday Morning at the Links

by Rechelle ~ February 7th, 2010. Filed under: Life.

A few folks have sent some really great links lately.
Thought I would share them…

From Mr. George – A pertinent parable as could only be told by Wile E. Coyote.  I so relate to this story right now.  Except for at the end which is sort of the opposite for me.

And from my friend Kelly – who is an Episcopalian priest.

Yes. That’s right.

A priest.

And I love her dearly and always will.

She sent me Pomplamoose and they totally rock.

    Rechelle,

The Wiley Coyote video was a hoot! I cracked up watching it!!! And I am heading to iTunes to download Pomplamoose immediately if not sooner. I love her voice and I got a kick out of the Rosalind Russell scenes in the video! Episcopalian priests rock, don’t they!

Don’t we all feel like Wile E. some days? Especially a Seth McFarlane version. I usually identify with Marge Simpson, and Donald Duck on the rough days.

LOVE Pomplamoose! Never been able to pick a favorite video of theirs, but La Vie en Rose always makes me smile. Nature Boy and Mrs. Robinson are great listening, too.

I’m feeling very uncool right now for having never heard of Pomplamoose until this very second. Better late than never. I need to get my hip groove back on, hardcore.

I’ve never heard of Pomplamoose but LOVED them! The song was great but even more so, all the cool and quirky video “tricks.” How refreshing.

Did the rest of your family attend church this morning…just wondering.

    LOL at the Coyote.

I don’t get it though – you’d think given his credentials, he could easily get a job working as an ACME quality control officer/test dummy.

I mean look at Buster in Mythbusters!

And here I thought you went golfing this morning! Very cool videos. Thanks R!
